About this program
This practical, applied-learning interactive training is focused on the management of linguistic data.
It provides a deeper dive into Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques focused on acquiring, cleaning, analyzing and processing of linguistic data.
The course offers the exploration of practical applications of language processing techniques which allows to build efficient, enterprise-grade linguistic data processing pipelines.
The course will cover the following insights areas:
● Practical techniques powered by NLP and AI: Tokenization, segmentation, stemming, part of speech recognition, and named entity extraction.
● Acquiring and cleaning language data: Corpora, mono and bilingual dictionaries.
● Analysis of linguistic data: Clustering and categorizing
● Modeling linguistic knowledge: Semantic relations, graphs, word2vec, hierarchical vs horizontal relations.
● Streamlining the data to AI models and analysis: Evaluation of results

About the program developer & trainer
Rafał Jaworski, PhD, is an academic researcher, computer scientist, engineer and educator, specializing in language processing and Artificial Intelligence.
Rafał works as Principal AI Engineer at XTM International where he develops AI-powered features to aid the translation process. At the same time he holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland.
Rafał’s main focus is on the development of innovative and usable algorithms. As this requires wide and interdisciplinary cooperation, Rafał’s mission is to
educate about AI and other innovative techniques.
Besides teaching academic courses, he gives thought provoking and engaging conference presentations across the globe.
